Twenty five years. Oh, how the time flies…
This album and tour meant so much to each of us and we are continually inspired by the stories you share about how much it meant to you. To celebrate this anniversary we want you guys to share your memories with each other and maybe find a few new friends along the way. More than anything, thanks for still being here 25 years later. After all these years… we still want it that way. #KTBSPA
Even though I wasn’t alive during the 90s, it’s honestly still so surreal to me that I even got to have this incredible experience. I’ve been a fan of BSB for a very long time now and it’s honestly so hard for me to listen to their music and not have a big smile on my face every time 😊. They were performing shows in the Las Vegas Sphere for their Millennium 2.0 tour and I had decided to take my opportunity and ask my father if I can go. I’m not the type to talk about the things I like, especially with my family members mostly because I’ll be met with judgement, so he was really shocked when I had asked to go to this concert. Since my parents were already planning a trip to Vegas during Christmas, travel wasn’t going to be an issue, so he said yes, and saying I was overjoyed would be the understatement of the century. I made sure to properly prepare for this concert, finding an all white outfit, finding a bag that fits the Sphere policy, and finding a BSB shirt that I’m going to where for the event. I was on a high for weeks and when the day of the concert finally came, I was ready. While waiting in the queue, I made friends with two fellow fans Reyna and Cathy, two of the sweetest women I’ve ever met who made my experience even more unforgettable and exciting by helping me get second row to the front in the venue. I had also met Jess and Andy who were both really excited for me when I had told them that it was my first concert. I was anticipating every moment, and just being in that building waiting for you guys to perform was making me even more excited than I already was. The show starts, and as soon as you guys popped out of the stage, I screamed so loud like I had never screamed before, I just couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe I was in the same building with you guys, I couldn’t believe I was watching you guys sing and dance to your amazing music live, I couldn’t believe that you guys were even talking to us, it was absolutely amazing. I cherished every moment, and getting you guys to even look at me will be the closest I ever got to interacting with you. I remember I was singing my heart out to “Shape of My Heart,” and Brian looks at me, points at me, and gives me the most goofiest smile while doing the most goofiest dance that I have ever seen 🤣. I remember when Kevin looked at me, I freaked out so much that I accidentally smacked the women in front of me, I apologized of course. I also screamed at the top of my lungs when Nick was looking at me as well as when I got both AJ and Howie to wave at me. Another funny memory I have was when everything was over, AJ comes out shirtless and throws his sweaty towel in the crowd, a girl behind me catches it and she lets me feel it, but as soon as I did, my germaphobic brain kicks in and I was just wondering what I was thinking 😂. I still love you AJ ❤️. Again I just couldn’t believe that all this was happening, after 25 years you guys still got it going on 😊😉. Reyna, Cathy, it’s too bad we didn’t keep in touch, but if you guys do stumble upon this, thank you so much for making my experience even better, wherever you guys are, I hope you are doing well. Same for Jess and Andy too, you guys are the absolute best. Thank you BSB for giving me a concert that I will never forget, I love all of you guys and I hope to see you again in the future and maybe even meet you guys one day. I also want to preface that I don’t have a favorite, I think you’re all cool and unique in your own way. Anyways you guys are amazing and may you be blessed with many more years to come. I love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
1999 you came to the Netherlands to the Amsterdam arena to do your millennium tour and me and my bestie have been fans since 1993 and yes we were finally allowed to go to your concert, well we couldn’t be happier!!! and left very early in the day to be as close to you as possible. what an experience that was WOW and to have your favorite boy hanging above you during the concert is fantastic!! me and my bestie really enjoyed you!!! thank you 🙏🏻 and now I am a 40 year old mom with posters still on the wall and 2 beautiful daughters who also love your music 🥰 what more could a BSB mom girl want!… Lots of love, Susanne Smit (Netherlands) 🇳🇱 ❤️🤍💙 🇳🇱
Millennium was the first album that brought our mom to theBSB fandom. It lead us to going to the Black & Blue tour where we meet Pollyanna Dorough and make precious memories with our mom. I was happy that BSB helped bring our mom closer to us. Recently, I want it that way has helped me bring my 11 yo niece and I closer and we want to go see them when they go on tour again. She loves rocking out with me listening to the pink crocodile and his friends haha.
Although we know cameras weren’t what they are now, we know you guys still have some photos, and maybe home videos, lying around from 1999. We’d love to see any photos with BSB merch, enjoying the music with your friends or going to the “Into the Millennium” tour.
